El Chupacabras
The legend of this mythical creature comes from Mexico I believe and has quite a long history already.

El Chupacabras which is known as "Goatsucker" in English is known to hunt down mostly farm animals during the hours of the night. There have been
very few reports of it actually attacking humans. The reports on it is actually goats, chickens, cows etc.
Well about 10 years ago I took a trip to Zacatecas, Mexico with my family to visit our relatives. We stayed on their farm which was actually a nice
place considering its Mexico lol...well one thing I remember from that trip is that on the day we were going to leave when everyone woke up my
grandpa(RIP) saw that some of his chickens and one of his pigs had been killed. I saw one of the chickens for myself and it looked to have scratch
marks on it. It had been brutally killed by the way it looked. I was a very young boy I was about 8 or 9 years old so I had no idea what may have
happened to those farm animals. As I got older I learned of the myth of this creature then I began to think that maybe those animals that I saw may
have been victims of the chupacabras.
Im still very uncertain of that but its just a thought.
These days I havnt really heard anything new about this mythical creature other than the same stuff I already knew. I am going to look more into this
legend and find more facts about it.

Wow, nice story Crow! Thanks for sharing your experience.
Did you know that people from that region initially considered the exsanguinations to be caused by vampires? As a result, when the first sighting up
the chupacabra occurred, the villagers organized a mob and went in search for the "vampire."
I personally believe the in existence of this creature, as do leading cryptozoologists.

I do not believe this, for many reasons:
1) Too similar to alien stories in America.
American as well as a few other European UFO stories have built around this description, with a few changes.
This is a picture of a "Greyhead" or a "Grey" alien:

Fake, of course
But the point being, it is very simliar to Crow's given description, with a few minor changes. With this given, either of the descriptions could have
copied off one another, or one might have evolved into one another, with the other still in mind.
CON: Now, with this given, it could just mean people see the same thing, just have different descriptions.
I won't go into any others, just give your opinions on this one

Here is some more info for ya crow
This deadly goat-sucker rears its ugly head periodically in Latin America.
Most recently, Fox News has reported that the bloodless corpses of 800 animals—sheep, pigs, chicken, and dogs—have been found in the past year in
northern Chile. The bodies are covered with strange bite marks. Authorities say wild dogs are responsible. However, some villagers have reported
seeing Chupacabras
Descriptions vary widely. The monster is sometimes described as a winged monkey, six to eight feet tall, with long, clawed arms and hideous fangs.
Other eyewitnesses state the creature is a flying rodent or a species of kangaroo.
In 1995, in Puerto Rico Chupacabras allegedly killed eight sheep leaving behind a pile of bloodless corpses. The beast has also struck in Texas, Costa
Rica, and Mexico. Chupacabras could be cousins of the world's only vampire bats, three species of which live in parts of Mexico, Central America, and
South America.
Some people say that the chupacabra comes from outer space, while others say it is the result of US military experiments.

I disagree with both points of view; In my opinion, they are simply an animal that we have yet to discover. It is estimated that we know of only
<1% of the organisms on this plant.
There may come a day that these animals are as well known as a rabbit or cat.

thanks, couldn't remember both where really good and really interesting. Might have to get them from the Library again, to freshen up on some things
in there.
I have to say the oddest thing about the animals is that they are all bloodless. Kind of odd if it was a wild dog, there still be blood in the animal
due to riger mortis where the blood will pool.
If it were a thing that happened to a few animals here and there I might think it was some cult using the blood. but it's a large number of different
species that are being attacked in the same fashion and all the blood is drained.
I really don't think it's a Experiment gone wrong if it were we'd see alot more weird stuff out there. It is in the realm of possibility of it
being not from this world. It is however Improbable but yet not impossible. There is a strong chance it is a species on Animal we have yet to
officially discover. or it could be a freak of nature where only a few are around and they bread a little and expanded.
There also is the Possibility that they where once a big animal species, but went near extinction thousands of years ago and their numbers are slowly
and I mean really slowly growing and expanding their territory.
